Beginning of Victoria Jean Jewelry
The idea of Victoria Jean Jewelry began back in 2010 during my engagement to my husband. As a bride-to-be, I was committed to looking my absolute best on my wedding day. It was a day I had been looking forward to since I was little, and everything had to be just as I had dreamed it would be.
The wedding dress was incredibly important to me, but not nearly as important as my jewelry. Sure I wanted my dress to be unique, but everyone has a wedding dress that is typically unique. I wanted something more. That’s when I redirected my focus to finding the perfect bridal jewelry.
I spent months looking for a statement necklace that would be a showstopper for when I walked down the aisle. I wanted a classic and elegant necklace made of lace, and covered in crystals. Needless to say, I never found what I was looking for, because it simply didn’t exist. That’s when I was inspired to design my own jewelry. I ended up finding a beautiful and unique necklace for my “bridal attire”, but it still wasn’t quite what I had hoped for.
I included some of my wedding photos for those of you that are curious what my necklace looked like. In the spring of 2011, just a few months after the wedding, I began designing jewelry. I had never made jewelry before, so it was an adventure, to say the least. However, my extensive background in the creative arts enabled me to envision and then execute each design. I learned so much in the first year, and my style has certainly evolved since 2011. I am exceedingly proud of how my designs have progressed and I look forward to what the future holds for Victoria Jean Jewelry.
